The 80s Bass Book is a collection of 18 songs from some of the biggest artists of the 1980s. The basslines transcribed here are some of the low-end highlights of the decade, and feature the work of bassists such as Pino Palladino, Marcus Miller, Tracy Wormworth, Nathan East, Mark King, Tony Levin, Nick Beggs, Freddie Washington and more.

Each transcription has been written in both standard notation and TAB and comes with a highly detailed breakdown and analysis. This includes guidance on performance techniques, information about the instruments used, and references to relevant recordings.
